Depending on who you ask you will get many different definition on Carrollwoods boundary lines. Most people will say it is west of Rome ave. on one side. North of Bush blvd. on the south side and the north end would be about 1 mile north of Erlich road and Henderson road or their abouts on the western boundary. A little mixed to say the least. It has long been desired to own a home in Carrollwood. Being on the north west side of Tampa does have it's advantages, You have many routes to choose to get downtown Tampa as well as different routes to the Tampa Airport all within 20 minutes or so. Here along Dale Mabry highway you can find just about every restaurant your heart desires include numerous shopping centers and stores. Everything you could want or need is just minutes away. Which is one of the reason so many people have chosen Carrollwood to live. Here you can find a Carrollwood luxury home for sale on waterfront; even town homes and villas can be found for sale in Carrollwood. There are many subdivisions in Carrollwood as well. Some are gated with beautiful Spanish/Mediterranean style homes. Other are unique luxury Golf course homes. In Carrollwood you can find just the right house to call home. The University of South Florida, and USF's Medical Schools are nearby. The Citrus Park Mall is right up Gunn Hwy, which makes shopping easy and convenient, and the Gulf Beaches. Is less than an hour´s drive. Dale Mabry is the major road running north and south and a common road to south Tampa. Erlich road, Fletcher ave. and Bush blvd are your major east west roads. Oh less not forget the new Veterans highway, which is a toll road that can get you to the airport in minutes. With all it has to offer it's no wonder why Carrollwood is still a popular place to live. That's right it was the Re/Max balloon giving free balloon rides to anyone who wanted them. Of course these were tethered rides but from the looks on the peoples faces it must have been fun.
